A fire alarm warning system that integrates fire alarms with on-site radio networks, allowing health estates personnel to carry a single device for radio, lone working, telephone, on-site radio and messaging requirements, will be shown by first-time exhibitor Brabourne Communications (BCL).
Fire panel messages are displayed simultaneously on the fire panel and portable radios, allowing staff to instantly manage incidents even when away from the site. The FAWS system can also be integrated into other building management networks. A suite of BCL-developed applications allows a single two-way radio to be used for a host of communications/health and safety needs, including lone worker, “man down”, manual emergency alarm, personnel tracking, text messaging, telephone interconnect, fire and intruder alarm integration, paging, and two-way radio voice communication.
