Haigh Engineering will show its new auto-start, “hands-free” Sluicemaster Panaway pulp product/bedpan disposer, designed for easier operation by nursing staff.
The company says: “The forthcoming launch of the hands-free Panaway further strengthens our already successful product range, which includes the SOLO, (pictured – a new bedpan macerator said to be smaller than any other comparable machine), the Classic +, and the Incomaster. “The range extension underpins our commitment to continuous improvement throughout our product range, while demonstrating our commitment to understanding and meeting the needs of customers and the end user.” Haigh says annual water savings of up to 80,000 litres are possible with the Panaway, “along with considerable electrical installation cost savings, as a 13 amp spur switch can be utilised rather than dedicated wiring”.
