Marlux Medical claims to have been the company that introduced the UK’s first disposable privacy curtains.
All its curtaining systems are produced from a high quality, durable, recyclable non-woven polypropylene fabric which does not support bacterial growth, has “a low environmental impact”, and is easy to recycle. The Marlux Disposable Curtain System is designed to help control infection by making it both economical and easy to change curtains more frequently. Using the Marlux Fast-Fit system, the curtain can be hung quickly, efficiently and hygienically. Marlux Fast-Fit cubicle track is white powder-coated, manufactured from aluminium to BS EN 755, complies with HTM 66, and is available in a low weight release system. Marlux also offers a free advisory and design service, project management, scheduled hospital curtain changes, and a “standalone” recycling service.
