Energy-saving controls

Danlers describes its passive infra-red (PIR) occupancy switches for automatic lighting control as ideal for hospital use.

The switches can eliminate the need for a wall switch, improving hygiene and limiting the spread of harmful germs, while saving energy and reducing carbon emissions. Each model has an adjustable photocell override, adjustable time lag before switch-off, and a relay for switching up to 6 amps (1500 W) of any type of lighting load, including fluorescents. The time and photocell settings have straightforward spindle adjustments. Easy to install using existing wiring, they are suitable for storage and laundry areas, toilets, corridors, consulting rooms, offices, and many other areas. Danlers’ energy-saving control range also includes daylight-linked dimmers, photocells, radio remote controls, time-lag switches, PIR thermostat controls, heater boost switches, and fan-speed controls.
