Managed communications specialist InTechnology will demonstrate its new mobile service, Push to Experience (PTX), designed for any organisation where employees need to stay in regular, close contact.
Push to Talk provides instant voice communication functionality, giving colleagues the ability to communicate immediately in one-to-one or group situations, regardless of each participant’s location. A “simple application” that can be incorporated to current mobile devices by using the data channel on mobile networks to transmit communication, it provides fixed costs, global coverage, and resilience. InTechnology sees it as “a potentially better alternative” to existing private mobile radio services. Through Push to Locate organisations can visually track the location of a PTX phone anywhere in the world “to within a few metres”. Benefits include better protection of staff working alone, and enhanced workforce utilisation
