E-Box increases LIFT efficiency

Following on from his successful and innovative adoption of e-procurement during the creation of the first three waves of NHS LIFT projects, Brian Johns, chief executive of Partnerships for Health (PfH), has selected E-Box to provide its web-enabled document collaboration tool, PFINet to each of the eight Fourth Wave LIFTs.

PFINet is a simple but secure, scalable and auditable communications and document management system which allows stakeholders, procurement teams and bidders to share and access key information during the procurement process. In this way, there need be no issues concerning irrelevant or out-of-date information or inappropriate levels of user access – it works smoothly and facilitates the whole procurement process. Brian Johns, chief executive of Partnerships for Health commented: β€œThe LIFT initiative is all about bringing a wide range of public sector and private sector partners together in order to improve health and social care. Our Framework Agreement with E-Box will enable these partners within the Fourth Wave of LIFT to use PFINet to communicate more effectively as well as bringing efficiencies and a robust audit trail to the procurement process.”
