CME Sanitary Systems’ new Polygiene anti-viral toilet seats, part of the Celmac brand, are said to have pathogen-killing properties, with the ability to help reduce the risk of transfer of MRSA, SARS-corona virus and E. coli bacteria.
Polygiene is a modified, scratchresistant thermoset material, ensuring a robust seat to ensure long-term protection and value. The seats are available in two colours and in six different designs, which include junior and adult sizes, and are available with or without a cover. The range also incorporates seats specifically designed to meet the needs of those with limited mobility, or who are elderly and infirm. When fitted to a suitable pan, these enable the toilet to meet the requirements of Document M with regard to the use of WCs by less able people.
