Testo Extends Thermal Imaging Camera Range

New Testo 875 and Testo 881 ideal for use in HVAC and Building applications to highlight energy losses and reduce costs.

Weak points in the building shell or leaks in heating and ventilation systems can lead to high energy losses and increased costs. With the new thermal imagers from Testo, energy losses can be precisely identified and documented. Even the smallest temperature differences can be recognised with extreme accuracy with the high temperature resolution of the new Testo thermal imagers. Highly flexible exchangeable lenses ensure that the right image section is always visible in the imager display and the integrated digital camera considerably facilitates documentation. The presentation of surface humidity using dynamic humidity measurement and calculation of the parameters for fast localisation of mould risk spots is unique in building thermgraphy. In addition, multiple-page thermography reports can also be created quickly and easily with the PC software.

The Testo 875 and Testo 881 thermal imaging cameras are suitable for a wide range of HVAC and Buildings management applications:

Test of heating systems and installations
The new Testo 875 thermal imager is particularly suitable for quickly, easily and directly testing heating, air condition and ventilation installations. The temperature distribution of a heating system or even leaks can be analysed with one glance with the infrared measuring instrument. Damage to the building material or leaks can thus be accurately localised, even in inaccessible or hidden pipelines, without having to disrupt  walls and floors.

Detect construction faults and ensure building quality
Analysis with the Testo 875 is also an efficient method of detecting construction faults. Thanks to the temperature resolution of <110 mK, the Testo 875 visualises heat loss, moisture and air leaks in buildings as a coloured thermal image. In addition, it detects implementation errors in heat insulation and examines building damage.

Analyse the building shell and perform energy consultation
Thanks to the extremely high temperature resolution of <80 mK, the Testo 881 visualises in detail defective insulation, cold bridges and construction errors or damage. This thermal imager is excellently suited to the recording and documentation of energy losses from outside windows, outside doors, roller blind boxes, radiator niches, in the roof construction or the entire building shell.

Prevent mould growth
If cold bridges occur, e.g. in the corners of a room, moisture from the ambient air can be precipitated. This can lead to mould fungus growth and the risks to the health of the inhabitants connected with it. The Testo 881 is the only thermal imager that is fitted with a radio probe for measuring humidity in real time. It provides important data with which dangerous, allergenic mould growth can be avoided, and the risk of mould contamination minimised, even in the hidden corners and niches of a house.
