An electronic healthcare estates and facilities resource offering access to “hundreds of pre-prepared template documents” has been launched by Empathy Environmental Consultants.
The resource will be available either as an annual subscription to an online web resource with regular updates, or as an electronic file version issued to users for a “one-off” fee. Empathy Environmental Consultants founder Alan Hambidge explained: “The model is already proving popular, and the first 100 organisations to sign up will receive both the electronic format and web access for no additional fee. The cost represents extremely good value, at just £500+VAT. The website will be updated regularly. There will also be a client share area where Trust estates and facilities departments can share their own information and policies etc.” Key documentation will include: Over 20 health and safety policy and procedure documents; over 40 work activity risk assessments, and over 40 safe work method / procedure documents.
