£600,000 security contract complete

Alarm Radio Monitoring has just completed the first phase of a new staff personal security system installation at the New State Hospital in Lanarkshire. The existing State Hospital is one of only four high secure hospitals in the UK, and is currently undergoing a £65 million rebuild, due for completion by 2010/11.

The new hospital will have 140 highsecure beds for male patients requiring maximum secure care. Manufacturer and integrated solutions company Alarm Radio Monitoring has installed a Bosch Personal Security system, fully integrated to a TOA public address system, to “provide staff with the reassurance and confidence of working in a safer environment”.
