Five national awards are to be presented by IHEEM in 2010. To be given to recipients during the annual Healthcare Estates conference and exhibition, taking place this year at Manchester Central from 5-6 October, the awards are:
• The Lifetime Achievement Award.
• The John Bolton Memorial Award for Excellence in the Field of Education and Training.
• The Lucas Scholarship Award for Significant Contribution to Branch Activities.
• The William E Schall Award for Excellence in Medical Technologies.
• The Northcroft Silver Medal for Outstanding Contribution to the Advancement of Healthcare Engineering.
Nominations for the Lifetime Achievement Award, the John Bolton Memorial Award, and the Lucas Scholarship Award, will be accepted from 1 April 2010; the closing date is 30 June. Full details of all the awards, and the nomination process, will be available on the IHEEM website, www.iheem.org.uk from early March.
