The organisers of this year’s Healthcare Estates event in Manchester say that, based on bookings to date, the venue change appears to be being well received, with the event “on course to be the largest and best-attended ever”.
In the first two months available for booking, over 90 companies have confirmed their place in the exhibition area, accounting for approximately 70% of the total floor space. This level of support is 38% up on 2009, itself a record. Since 2006 attendee numbers at the IHEEM annual conference have also risen by 20%. The organisers say: “The move to Manchester is not about growing the size of the exhibition; it is about driving the event forward, increasing the benefits to all participants, and attracting more attendees, to ensure Healthcare Estates continues to be the annual forum for all those involved in the delivery of healthcare environments.
