Organisations and individuals keen to present a paper at this year’s Healthcare Estates conference in Manchester in October around the 2010 theme “Cleaner, Leaner, Safer and Greener Environments for Quality Patient Care”
are reminded that they must complete the abstract registration form enclosed within this issue and submit an accompanying 500-word abstract to IHEEM events/education manager Jeff Pickering by 31 March. Abstracts should be submitted by post. An electronic version of the “Call for Papers” document can be downloaded at: www.healthcare-estates.com or www.iheem.org.uk Papers will be selected based on the quality of the abstract, their originality, and relevance to the conference theme. Abstracts should provide a summary of the contents and main points to be made. Full details of the required length and format of the paper will be confirmed after selection. As a guideline, speakers, who will be notified of their selection by 23 April (and will receive complimentary registration, lunch, and reasonable expenses on the day), will normally be asked to present for approximately 25-30 minutes.
