“Ireland’s only complete event for FM professionals” is how the organisers of the Facilities Management Ireland conference and exhibition, which opens later this month at the RDS in Dublin, describe the two-day event.
Being held from 23-24 March, and supported by organisations including IHEEM, FM Ireland is the second such show, with organisers Stepex reporting that feedback from visitors and exhibitors at last year’s inaugural event suggested they felt it “delivered a quality audience of buyers with whom exhibitors could network, forge business relationships, and secure orders”. This year’s key conference themes include “workspace and environment”; “security solutions”; “energy and sustainability”; “fire and safety” and “building services” Presentations will cover topics ranging from “Creating healthy environments and achieving operational efficiency” and “Trends in sustainable workplace design”, to “Reducing security costs and increasing quality – is it achievable?”, “Part L of the Building Regulations explained”, and “How record management can reduce hidden costs”.
