BIFM conference details available on ‘Twitter’

The British Institute of Facilities Management (BIFM) can now be found on social networking site “Twitter”, sending regular “tweets” to UK FM professionals on its forthcoming Annual Conference and general FM news.

The latest speaker addition to the “FM in a Changing World” event, taking place from 13 – 14 April 2010 at the Riverbank Plaza Hotel, London, is keynote presenter Will Hutton, executive vice-chair of The Work Foundation, and an influential voice on work, employment, and organisation issues in the UK. Also due to speak are mountaineer Chris Bonington (pictured), who led the successful British Everest Expedition in 1975, and Philip Ross, CEO of Cordless Group, and an author, commentator, and consultant specialising in emerging technology’s impact on work and the workplace. The key conference theme is “How well the facilities management sector has emerged from testing times, and how facilities managers are dealing with ever-extending responsibilities”.
