Manufacturer of disposable hospital curtains Marlux Medical now offers customers a new product – the “Enviro Bag”, for the removal and recycling of used curtains.
Recycling of Marlux curtains has been commonplace for many years, but the company has now improved the service with the development of a fully sealable bag in which used curtains can be recycled cleanly and efficiently. Marlux will collect the bags and recycle the curtains for processing into other usable plastic products. This tailor-made service offers a simple, safe solution, and all the necessary paperwork required for the collection, recycling, and reuse of the curtains is completed by Marlux.
One of the features of Marlux curtains said to “unique” is that both the curtains, and the accompanying Fast-Fit curtain hook, are made from a single polypropylene material. This allows both the curtains, and the Enviro Bag provided, to be recycled into other usable products, diverting waste from landfill and helping to protect the environment.
