Property compliance software specialist NHS Micad will demonstrate a number of new updates and developments it says have been driven by the latest NHS estates strategic thinking on areas including space utilisation, room monitoring, and booking.
Micad’s Internet Property Register (IPR) web-based estates management system is used by over 100 NHS Trusts. The company says its products provide storage and management tools for property appraisal, risk management, terrier and leases, operation and maintenance manuals, documents, and multi-layered CAD drawings. New developments shown will include new room booking software encompassing departmental crosscharging facilities and help desk diary management. Micad will also be able to advise Trusts on how its asbestos module “exceeds the demands” of the latest HSE asbestos survey guidance, and will promote its Web Application Hosting Service, which it says requires neither hardware investment nor significant in-house IT department involvement.
