Schneider Electric will showcase its extensive range of solutions for the healthcare sector. Experts from the global energy management specialist will be on hand to discuss the company’s wide range of products and services, which include “demand response”, a scheme via which hospitals can earn revenue by using their existing back-up generators.
The company explained: “The increased demand for energy means there are some occasions where supply capacity on the National Grid cannot meet the demand for power. Through Schneider Electric’s innovative demand response service, hospitals can make additional revenue by reducing their load on the grid to provide spare capacity.” Schneider Electric will also explain its latest self-funding model, Strategic Building Solutions, “a tried and tested” method that originated in Scandinavia which it says can help NHS Trusts reduce their energy consumption by 20 per cent.
