A “radically designed” new open protocol fire alarm system, and a “concept single-bed ward”, will be the focal points for specialist healthcare communications provider Static Systems.
Making its HefmA debut is the new Series900evo fire alarm system, which uses a fully digital communications protocol, offers fast, reliable detection, and “more than doubles” the loop capacity of its successful predecessor. Series900evo also provides the platform to enable ease of integration with many other facilities and systems, such as nurse call, fire dampers, air sampling, and other IP-based systems. Control panels are easily expandable, and have been designed to be compatible with Series900 systems on existing sites. Static Systems’ concept of a single-bed ward has sparked great debate in the healthcare profession. The company’s stand will illustrate further a number of key issues currently being addressed, including slips and trips, infection control, and nurse call modular design.
