Continuous investment in the latest technology is, Medical Services says, keeping the company ahead as an independent provider of patient transport services to the NHS.
Managing director Joe Sheehan said: “Our leading edge online booking system, “computerised auto allocation via satellite tracking”, is to be upgraded later this year to incorporate an eligibility function to allow Trust staff to complete this online without the need for a separately commissioned assessment service. “An increasing number of our hospital Trust clients are adapting to our online book system, and the new online patient assessment function is an important enhancement to it.” Pictured is a trained team of operators at Medical Services’ headquarters call centre, which uses the latest satellite vehicle tracking and online booking systems.
