Courtney-Thorne claims its wireless radio “08” touch-screen nurse call system “provides absolute accountability” for managers, and call tracking, in one touchscreen unit.
Fully programmable with individual room naming for up to 999 locations, the system comes with a “unique” 10-year call history viewing option, plus the ability to create on-screen graphs. Details can either be viewed instantly or exported to print. An optional feature is a radiocontrolled mains switch system which can, the company claims, be adapted to operate any electrically-operated device, such as bedside lighting and televisions. Courtney-Thorne says its focus on “continually producing products that will improve daily life on wards for patients and staff” has resulted in “the ultimate” in nurse call leads. The waterproof call point lead (pictured) is made with antimicrobial additives for maximum hygiene, and can withstand complete immersion in liquid to IP67 standards.
