A range of containerised generator sets which will handle step loads in excess of 850 kW from cold start and operate with noise levels at 80 dBA at 1 m, described by the company as “outstanding for a 1,600 kVA generator in a 20 ft container”, is now available from Dale Erskine Power Solutions.
The Secure Power generator sets come in 1,600, 1,400, 1,200 and 1,000 kVA versions, all available as dual 50/60 HZ frequency. Dale Erskine says the 20 ft generator’s “compact power density” makes the units ideal where space and flexibility are key considerations. The units are fully bunded against leakage and, “with the same fuel consumption as similar-lower-powered containerised units”, are claimed to offer better fuel efficiency. To aid servicing they feature dual side door access and an external fuel fill point.
