Designer of operating room equipment Berchtold has received an order for 500 of its small D 300 therapy and examination lights for Algeria from Lytraco, a Lyon-based exporter, for mobile field hospital use.
“With this sort of a specialised tender, we weren’t looking for just the most affordable lights, but a model that met all our specifications, and was suitable for cases with multiple surgical fields on one patient,” explains Belkhir Toukal, Lytraco’s CEO.
