Jon Prichard, who served on the Engineering Council’s Board from 2003 – 2007, and is currently chairman of trustees for the organisation’s pension scheme, has been appointed as the Council’s CEO.
He joined the regulatory body at the beginning of August to replace Andrew Ramsay, who has retired after 13 successful years at the organisation, including eight years as its CEO. A Chartered Engineer, Jon Prichard joins from multidisciplinary engineering and management consultancy High- Point Rendel. He was previously an executive director at the Institution of Civil Engineers.
