C2 EMD says its CCA Ultra Clean System allows HVAC/fresh air to be ported into its in-room recirculation system, with the resulting energy savings potentially covering the equipment’s whole life cost. It said:
“The system maintains any room as ultraclean at around 20% of the conventional installation and running costs. Germany’s Robert Koch Institute has now accepted that maintaining ultraclean air with good conventional infection control stops most HAIs. “With a growing number of NHS installations in operating theatres, ITU, PICU, infectious disease, transplant, burns, day surgery, and isolation units, the system is now showing the same results in the UK.”
