Safetherm, a thermostatic mixer tap said to “set new standards in safety, ease of use, and serviceability”, and featuring Insutech+, which “reduces surface temperatures on the hot inlet to a safe level”, will be spotlighted by Rada.
Also shown will be the Acu, reportedly the world’s first digital TMV3-approved mixing valve for healthcare, and said to “represent the next generation of digital thermostatic mixing valves”. Sense – Acu’s “parent valve” – is designed to reduce the costs of managing healthcare facilities, and the risks associated with Legionella and HAIs. It allows for an element of remote siting – up to 3 metres – from the user outlet; and offers options for basin, bath, bidet, shower or bath/shower water delivery systems. Both valves are BuildCert TMV3-approved, and thus conform to NHS Estates Model Engineering Specification D08.
