Users of Marlux’s Premiere range of disposable printed curtains can promote their hospital and Trust, support a local charity, or simply demonstrate their commitment to the privacy and dignity of patients, using the product, the company says. The Marlux Premiere Range encompasses “the very latest innovations in disposable curtains”, and the company’s “unique” printing service now enables customers to have a series of messages, logos, and images, displayed on the full-width cubicle curtains.
Marlux will collaborate with NHS Trusts, individual establishments, or separate wards, producing customised designs that can effectively market brands or mottos, or emphasise privacy and dignity or infection control initiatives to patients; for example the importance of washing hands, or cleaning policies.
The technical print process and rigorous quality control checks provide consistently clear, sharp images. The method of ink application ensures full integration with the polypropylene curtain fabric, producing a flat, clean, dry surface which does not encourage the formation of protein, or the growth of bacteria.
Marlux can offer bespoke printing to customers ordering a minimum of 22 boxes of disposable curtains. With curtain manufacture and the printed production service based in the UK, customers are able to receive finished product within short time periods.
Marlux disposable curtains are available in an extensive range of colours, all manufactured using high quality, durable, and recyclable, non-woven bacteriostatic polypropylene material which does not support bacterial growth.
“Fast-Fit”, “Uni-glide”, and “Universal” hooking systems are now available, providing added choice and flexibility to customers. Fast-Fit tracks can be installed by Marlux or existing track systems can be converted, using the Marlux Adapt-a-track.
Marlux has previously worked closely with hospitals to ensure that change polices are managed properly and cost-effective results are achieved. On request, curtain changes can be undertaken by Marlux installers. This service includes the removal, environmental disposal, and “ethical recycling” of existing curtains into other consumables.
Marlux also offers the Enviro bag (subject to conditions), a recycling service which addresses current NHS requirements concerning the reduction of carbon emissions.
