Following its successful participation in “The Big Bang Young Scientists’ & Engineers’ Fair” at Manchester Central in March (HEJ – February, March, April and May 2010), IHEEM has announced its support for next year’s event, to be held at the ICC London ExCel on 10-12 March 2011.
“With over 22,500 people attending, and some 110 organisations from across the private, public, and voluntary sectors involved, this year’s event demonstrated a real desire for the engineering communities to come together and raise the profile of science and engineering,” said IHEEM events/education manager Jeff Pickering. EngineeringUK says “The Big Bang 2011” promises to be an even bigger event, “with more inspiration, interaction, and exciting events and shows”. IHEEM is keen to hear from companies or individuals able to provide activities or practical demonstrations related to healthcare engineering who could partner with it to produce an interactive, and interesting, stand.
