Ecovert FM has begun service delivery to the newly built and refurbished North Middlesex University Hospital. The new-build part of the hospital spans 32,000 m2, and the retained estate, 34,000 m2.
New amenities include an emergency care centre, a critical and acute care centre, a diagnosis and treatment centre, and additional clinical support services. Via a 30-strong team, Ecovert FM will deliver building engineering and fabric maintenance, infrastructure maintenance, project management, and helpdesk and lifecycle fund management, to the new and retained estate over a 31.5 year period. The new North London hospital was handed over to the Trust on 8 April, and became fully operational on 1 June. It was built by Ecovert FM’s sister company, Bouygues UK. Outside works are due for completion in 2011.
