Twelve full and half-height Bushboard Washroom Systems Healthcare Ready Plumbed Units have been installed at the Clinical Education Centre at the University Hospital of North Staffordshire in Stoke on Trent.
A 16-week refurbishment of the building was completed two weeks ahead of schedule by local contractors SCC Developments, a Bushboard “preferred installer”. Mark Newman, SCC’s commercial director, said: “The Bushboard RPM units definitely helped us complete the project early. “They offer real advantages over traditional timber frame and panelling systems, being delivered ready to install, and are very simple to fit.” Bushboard’s HTM 64- and HTM 68- compliant RPM units combine dedicated healthcare sanitaryware and brassware fitted to panels and pre-assembled onto a specially designed pre-built rigid aluminium frame. They stand “proud” of the wall, and neatly conceal services supplied through floor, wall, or ceiling.
