A Secure Power 1600 generating set, control panel, and ancillary components from Dale Power Solutions have been installed at a North Yorkshire hospital while the company refurbishes the facility’s existing two generators (originally supplied by it), upgrading the units and installing new control systems that will give the hospital “greater flexibility” over its future back-up power use.
Dale Power Solutions says the Secure Power 1600 equipment was developed “to provide outstanding power output with low noise in a containerised unit that fits in to the tightest of locations”. With “huge power available on demand”, it says the Secure Power 1600 is giving the hospital the peace of mind that its power is guaranteed at all times while the electrical plant refurbishment progresses. The temporary generator had to provide immediate power, meet tough health and safety regulations, and be sufficiently quiet for its surroundings, alongside being “extremely secure”, to minimise any tampering risk.
