Envirommental Water Systems (EWS), the Cheddar, Somerset-based water purification, water recovery, and process filtration specialist, has been purchased by Amplio Filtration Holdings for an undisclosed sum.
EWS designs, manufactures, services, and supplies water treatment, water purification, and waste water recovery systems in the healthcare and industrial sectors, with advanced systems including the EndoTherm and EndoPure MK II. The company has 34 staff and a turnover of over £4.2 million. The company said: “Our senior managers have personally worked with members of the Amplio Group for several months to ensure a good fit with other Group companies. Amplio has existing investments in Envirogen Technologies, a large waste water company, and in Puresep Technologies, which has a full range of filtration equipment. This exciting new alliance will therefore allow us to better serve customers across all areas against a background of the most comprehensive product range available.”
