In launching its new low-cost lighting range, RS Components says it has introduced a further 250 lines to add to its existing 1,200. The low-cost ranges of fluorescent, halogen, & HID lighting incorporated within the overall offering are from Sylvania, Venture, and Knightsbridge, while the core lighting offer has been strengthened by extending the range from leading brands such as Philips, Osram, GE, and Megaman
. Neil Harrison, marketing manager for Building Maintenance at RS, said, “These days it’s all about value for money. We have got some unbeatable prices, and we can prove it. We carry out regular ‘pricechecker’ type activities to ensure that they stay that way.” With RS customers increasingly “doing business on the web”, all the lighting products feature on the RS website, available for same day despatch. The online Lighting Selector Tool is designed to help customers “choose the right lighting for the application while ensuring value for money”.
