Healthcare consultant MJ Medical says it has fully integrated its equipment planning services into a Building Information Modelling (BIM) “environment”.
Building Information Modelling provides “a collaborative, multidimensional approach to the process of designing, generating, and managing building data during its lifecycle”. MJ Medical will thus now be able to offer “a significantly enhanced consultancy service to deliver health facility and medical equipment planning through BIM”. Clinical planning will be conducted “in a data-driven 3D environment”. The “BIM approach” to clinical planning will also “ensure early stage accuracy in the design process”, potentially significantly reducing the overall duration, likelihood of variations, and associated costs of the design stage.
