Making a concerted stand

Bytec Medical has expanded its range of “ergonomic medical equipment platforms”. An addition to Bytec’s existing powered cart portfolio, the MIT-Cart range is designed for mobile workstation applications, supporting the use of panel or small form factor PCs with the option of mains or DC power.

The design is founded on a heavy duty 680 mm aluminium base with smooth rolling castors. The “easy clean” construction is also available with an antimicrobial additive. The standard MIT-Cart comes with a monitor mounting pole with a VESA mount for a display, and a large work surface for use with a keyboard, for handwriting notes, or as preparation area for small procedures. Two accessory channels, front and rear, can hold baskets, hooks, or clamp rails. A second variant (pictured) offers additional mechanical adjustment to suit a seated, or standing, user. The new “entry-level” Eco-Stand accessory stand range is available in a range of build configurations on a 540 mm or 600 mm cast aluminium base. The former is available with a drip pole and easy clean rubber mouldings, while the 600 mm fixed height version has a 2” anodised aluminium pole capable of supporting lightweight monitor equipment. A range-topping 2” heightadjustable version can support a mounted display with an integral gas-assisted lift, making it ideal as an auxiliary display stand or mobile panel PC solution for when no worktop is required.
