Life safety products from Hochiki Europe, which manufactures and supplies fire detection and emergency lighting systems, are being installed throughout 16 new government-funded polyclinics in Libya.
Tripoli-based Alarmtec, one of Libya’s leading fire detection installation companies, took part in a competitive tender, and was awarded the contract for the installation work. Managing director, Khalid Zwai, said: “Alarmtec has specified Hochiki’s fire detection systems in a variety of locations throughout Libya over the last six years, and we had no hesitation in recommending their use within these state-of-the-art polyclinics. We know Hochiki’s solutions are reliable, innovative, and backed up with an unsurpassed level of service”. Hochiki’s smoke detectors, heat sensors, call points, base sounders, and sensor bases, utilise the company’s Enhanced Systems Protocol (ESP) – “a total communications solution for intelligent fire detection and fully integrated systems”.
