Automation and display technology specialist Jayex’s new Web Media M4 multimedia and client call solution incorporates digital displays that will allow healthcare organisations to communicate visually and audibly to staff, visitors, and patients, in prime locations such as receptions, walkways, and waiting areas.
Easily configurable display screens provide the opportunity to exhibit pertinent messages, direct individuals to the relevant room, and entertain or educate those waiting. M4 uses the latest web technologies to provide a fast, intuitive, and easy-to-use online interface accessible from any PC, Macintosh, or Linux workstation, without having to install any applications. Content can be uploaded from sources including posters, videos, RSS feeds, broadcast news, live TV, external video, and websites, while text and imagery can be edited. M4 users receive free access to Med- Extranet, Jayex’s online media library, where they can download educational videos, digital posters, and public service announcements. The configured digital information is displayed on LCD screens, can be set up quickly in single or splitscreen modes, and is available in totem, wall, or ceiling mount options.
