Guides to ceiling and wall systems “for the particularly demanding environments of healthcare buildings” have been launched in three formats by Armstrong Ceilings.
The company’s “Healthcare segment” brochure, healthcare interactive flash, and new healthcare CPD, advise how to select ceiling and wall systems which optimise acoustics and natural daylight to enhance the patient and staff environment, and create a contemporary feel, while meeting health and safety, indoor quality, infection prevention, and maintenance criteria. The 32-page “Healthcare segment” brochure advises on mineral and metal ceiling tiles and grids to meet criteria such as anti-microbial performance, air quality, cleaning, humidity resistance, fire reaction, acoustic performance, light reflectance, guarantees, and recycled content. Case studies illustrate how Armstrong ceiling products have helped to meet healthcare performance criteria at particular sites, while the flash presentation allows viewers to focus on individual healthcare spaces, such as MRI rooms, operating theatres, consulting rooms, and reception areas. They are then advised on each room type’s performance criteria, and on the available Armstrong solutions.
