Digital signage specialist Messagemaker has launched a new series of vehicle-activated low-energy LED signs for local and highway use.
Providing a “long-lasting, cost-effective, and virtually maintenance-free solution”, the ultra-bright LED displays are available in a range of sizes, and are customisable with additional messaging. Activated by internallymounted radar, they provide dynamic feedback to drivers approaching areas requiring extra caution. Messagemaker’s new speed signs are available for 5-60 mph speeds, with an optional “Slow Down” text message. Flashing yellow warning indicators, speed camera, “turn ahead,” and other special layouts, are also available. The unit’s inbuilt programming functionality allows speed limits to be set to activate as required. The signs have an allweather, powder-coated lockable outer case, and an optional solar power unit can be supplied.
