Healthcare waste management company GW Butler has secured a three-year contract with Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust which will see it provide a comprehensive waste management service.
The contract includes management of infectious, medicinal, sharps, and anatomical waste. The primary treatment technology used will be GW Butler’s high-technology “Tempico Rotoclave” system, which it claims “delivers a standard 100 times higher than is set by the Environment Agency” for clinical waste treatment.
