Altro has added 12 new colours to its WalkwayTM 20/VM20 safety flooring range, which it says is recommended for locations “where health and safety standards and CDM regulations dictate underfoot safety”.
The flooring is also “easy to cove and weld” for faster, more cost-effective installation. Manufactured with aluminium trioxide throughout its thickness, and silicon carbide at the surface, Walkway provides “life-long slip and abrasion resistance”, and has enhanced chemical and indentation resistance, for “longer than average” life expectancy. Two plain options (Canary and Tango) have been added to the hard-wearing 2 mm safety flooring range, making Altro Walkway available for the first time in both plain and chipped designs. There are also 10 new chipped products: Savannah, Sand, Tarragon, Winter, Whale, Blizzard, Nightfall, River, Coal, and Lupine. The colour range includes “cool neutral colours, and dramatic bold shades”. All Altro safety flooring is “100% recyclable”, and contains post-consumer waste as an integral raw material.
