Safety-tested lock

A heavy duty electronic push-button lock that has achieved fire safety and durability testing to American National Standards Institute (ANSI) grade 1 – the highest accreditation level, confirming its robustness against heavy use, has been introduced by Codelocks.

The CL6000 has been accredited to the ANSI/BMHA standards, A156.2-2003 and A156.25-2007, for door hardware covering locks and handle sets. It also offers a three-hour UL/ULC fire rating. “This product was originally developed for North America, where products for many commercial applications require grade 1 certification,” explained Codelocks MD, Grant Macdonald. Each brushed steel lock has full-size lever handles, and is designed as a primary lock.
