Zip Heaters has expanded its Hydroboil Plus on-wall boiling water system range to offer larger capacities of up to 40 litres. The new 10, 15, 25, and 40 litre units “offer users of larger capacity instant boiling water systems the energy-saving advantages associated with the existing Hydroboil Plus range”.
Zip added: “The unique energy management systems, ‘cool touch’ tap, and superior insulation, all ensure that power consumption and running costs are kept to an absolute minimum.” The new capacity units retain all the smaller models’ key features, including an integrated safety lock, “cool touch” tap, adjustable temperature setting, and LED display showing time, day, energysaving mode status, and filter change reminder. Other energy-saving features include a low light “sleep mode”, with integrated light detector to monitor local lighting levels. When activated, this allows the stored boiling water temperature to gradually reduce to 65°C, at which it is maintained until local lighting is re-activated – when the boiling cycle resumes.
