‘Free-to-use’lone worker protection

Connexion2 is now offering a free-touse product designed to improve upon traditional “Buddy”or call-back systems that it says enables effective colleague-to-colleague communication via a website.

“mysafety.net” (www.mysafety.net) users can also access an automatic newsfeed and alerts in line with colleague itineraries, be notified of potential risks at locations being visited, share itinerary information, and create “a secure community” utilising Google Maps, which allow users to “tag and flag risks”, and points of interest. Sign-up is free, but users can upgrade to a Premium account offering added functionality. mysafety.net can be used independently, or alongside lone worker devices, such as Connexion2’s “Identicom”, for “an additional layer” of protection. Users of the company’s SoloProtect service will receive the Premium version free throughout their contract.
