A delegation from the Ministry of Health in Malaysia recently visited the UK to understand more about UK healthcare estates and facilities policy and systems.
IHEEM President Paul Kingsmore met with Touran Zaidi (see photo), the President of the Biomedical Engineering Association of Malaysia (BEAM), during the delegation’s visit to the Glasgow offices of Health Facilities Scotland. He commented: “It was great to meet with a fellow professional from another part of the world, to share experiences, and to discuss the challenges we are all facing. Tauron Zaidi was interested in the work of IHEEM, as we are very much seen in a positive light by our international colleagues.”
