The Rt Hon Jane Kennedy MP, Minister of State for Delivery and Quality at the Department of Health, has accepted an invitation to give the keynote address at this year’s Healthcare Estates conference in Harrogate.
The call for conference papers will close in the near future – abstracts need to be submitted by 21 April. IHEEM's Conference Committee has already received some excellent abstracts, but is still looking for more papers especially those that cover international and research based issues.
The committee that makes decisions on which papers are selected for the conference is made up of senior estate managers and directors who ensure that the topics chosen are the most topical and relevant. For more details on submitting an abstract, telephone Louise Hammond on 023 9282 3186 or send an e-mail to conference@iheem.org.uk
Healthcare Estates now has a new website: www.healthcare-estates.com The website has been designed to make it easier for those attending the event to plan how their time is spent. "Over 85% of the exhibition space at Healthcare Estates has already been sold," said Colin Williams, exhibition director. "In response to unprecedented demand, we're taking on new hall space at the Harrogate International Centre – we'll be announcing availability and rates very soon." The current exhibitor list visit can be viewed at www.healthcare-estates.com
