Construction company Mansell, which is currently undertaking works valued at around £17 million via a ProCure21+ contract at the world-famous children’s hospital as part of the facility’s current redevelopment, has presented Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity with a cheque for £33,000.
The money has been raised by Mansell employees and a number of Great Ormond Street Hospital staff, who cycled 350 miles, over four days, from London to Paris. Each year some £50 million must be raised to help rebuild and refurbish the hospital, buy vital equipment, and fund pioneering research. The money raised this time will go towards helping to provide vital new facilities for the neurosciences wards.
