As part of a “stepping up” of measures to ensure all its TMV3 products for healthcare applications are bacteria-free at installation.
Rada will now apply Freebac, “a powerful anti-microbial agent”, to each valve to create a sterile environment within it until it is installed, and to minimise microbial growth opportunities between factory and installation. Once the product is in situ, the Freebac will be flushed out, leaving it to be commissioned and maintained according to relevant guidelines.
