Visitors to Healthcare Estates 2011 can view Nanoclave’s recently launched “NHS-ready” germicidal light decontamination cabinet.
The Nanoclave Cabinet, said to “effectively decontaminate all noninvasive medical equipment and electronic devices”, and to be “clinically effective against all significant problematic pathogens”, including MRSA and C. difficile. With 360° full-beam decontamination, the device boasts a 60 second disinfection cycle, giving “a significant time saving compared to conventional methods”. The company added: “Independent clinical studies prove the Cabinet achieves a Log 5 reduction on a broad range of devices. The NHS-ready model includes full traceability for each disinfection cycle via an outboard Independent Monitoring System (IMS). All data is archived onto an SD card, and printed out in hard copy.”
