With mixers and taps in constant contact with germs and microbes, making them highly susceptible to bacterial development and contamination inside the spout and around the outlet.
Douglas Delabie’s BIOCLIP range of mixers and taps can be easily disinfected. Two BIOCLIP mixer versions are available:
• Variants removable from their bases for disinfection without shutting off the water supply, and;
• Versions with removable spouts, supplied with two brass spouts which can be alternated, ensuring continuity of use during disinfection protocols. (alternatively, brass spouts can be replaced by disposable, recyclable Hostaform spouts).
The bodies and spouts have “completely smooth” interiors, providing fewer surfaces where bacteria can adhere and proliferate. Electronic models incorporate an anti-bacterial duty flush that operates every 24 hours after last use.
